This week, I am publishing a series of short articles for subscribers that describe the insights I gained from my recent Ukraine visit. The first piece, published on Monday, examined strategy for the war from the perspective of Ukraine and Western nations. The second article, published yesterday, explored the need to evolve the Ukrainian strategic influence campaign in 2024.

In this third article describing my observations on the status of the war in Ukraine, I will explore the challenges that Ukraine is having mobilising its people for the war, and how this contrasts with Russia’s capacity to do the same.
